About the Role
Customer Service and Administrative support across all aspects of delivery for KCC's School bus pass schemes. Handling customer enquiries received by telephone and via email and general administrative support towards the delivery of the Kent County Council Travel Saver and Kent 16+ Travel Saver schemes.
What is the day-to-day of the role
- Handling customer enquiries received by telephone and via email, resolving problems and providing accurate information
- Manage complaints
- Liaison with other council departments as necessary to resolve issues regarding travel arrangements
- Support for other team members during busy periods or as and when the business requires
- Plan and organise own work to identified priorities
Required Skills and Qualification
- Office administration experience
- Experience of drafting correspondence
- Experience of working with a social care environment
- Computer literacy
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Be able to work with minimum supervision
