Hackney Council is seeking an experienced and qualified Adults Team Manager to head up the Ongoing Support and Review team in our Integrated Learning Disabilities Service (ILDS). This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with proven experience in social services management to support a multidisciplinary service delivering high‑quality care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

We work collaboratively to promote independence, wellbeing and personalised support. Our practice is strength‑based, trauma‑informed, and inclusive, with a commitment to recognising intersectionality and tailoring support to the unique needs of each individual.
About the Role
The Adults Team Manager – Ongoing Support and Review will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the ILDS social care function. You will support and guide senior practitioners and social workers, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, person‑centred services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to social workers and senior practitioners
- Maintain proactive oversight of performance and service delivery
- Ensure the team meets KPI targets and maintains high‑quality standards
- Lead on the daily operations of the Ongoing Support and Review function within ILDS
- Deputise for the Deputy Head of Service when required
- Drive positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities in Hackney
