About the Role
As a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our service. You will:
- Hold and manage a small caseload of complex and challenging cases
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to OTs, apprentices and students
- Lead high‑quality, analytical assessments and evidence‑based interventions
- Drive professional standards, innovation and continuous improvement in practice
- Represent OT within multi‑agency forums and contribute to strategic development
- Oversee safeguarding investigations as a Safeguarding Adults Manager
- Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014, MCA, safeguarding guidance and local frameworks
You will be joining a motivated service committed to raising standards, improving outcomes and redesigning pathways to benefit Hackney residents.
What We’re Looking For:
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- 3+ years’ post‑qualification OT experience in Adult Services
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, MCA, Safeguarding, and major adaptations
- Experience supporting and developing others — mentoring, supervision, shadowing
- Confidence managing complex cases and clinical risk
- Skilled communication, decision‑making and leadership abilities
- HCPC registration & RCOT membership
