The London Borough of Hackney is currently recruiting Estate Waste Operatives to join the team at Millfields Recycling Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to keeping Hackney clean, safe, and environmentally sustainable.

About the Role

As an Estate Waste Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and waste management standards across housing estates and recycling facilities. Duties will include:

  • Collecting and managing household and recyclable waste
  • Maintaining cleanliness across estate areas and around waste facilities
  • Supporting recycling operations at our depots
  • Ensuring waste is disposed of safely and in line with environmental regulations
  • Interacting with residents and providing a high level of customer service
