Connect2Dudley are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead and support a Children's Social Care team, ensuring vulnerable children, young people, and families receive high-quality services that safeguard and promote their wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop a team of Social Workers, ASYEs, Trainee Social Workers, and Personal Advisors.
Oversee caseload allocation and ensure statutory assessments, plans, and reviews are completed within timescales.
Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management to maintain high standards of practice.
Make informed decisions regarding children and families, ensuring effective risk management and positive outcomes.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective multi-agency support and interventions.
Monitor service performance, conduct case audits, and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with legislation, statutory guidance, local policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Contribute to service development, planning, and strategic priorities across Children's Services.
Promote equality, diversity, and participation, ensuring the voice of children and families is central to practice.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Significant experience within Children's Social Care, including safeguarding and child protection.
Previous management or supervisory experience within a social work setting.
