Job Summary
To assist the Compliance Manager (CM) in their daily duties to effectively manage the resources and assets within the Housing Maintenance Team/Corporate Landlord services to achieve compliance and competency. Carry out gap analysis for all social housing properties as well as Corporate landlord buildings. Investigate into all PPM's and ensure all programmed works are carried out in accordance with Approved Code of Practice, L8 ACoP.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading Legionella and water hygiene compliance strategies across large and diverse housing portfolios, including corporate landlord buildings.
- Extensive experience of Social Housing repair legislation and Landlords statutory obligations relating to the management of gas appliances, installations and water hygiene.
- Experience of the management of Corporate Landlord properties.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex water safety and compliance projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
Qualification/Training
- BSc in a construction related discipline (or HNC in relevant discipline with extensive site supervisory experience) or other equivalent qualifications and willing and keen to undertake specific training to develop specific competency in the role.
- Level 3 Award in Legionella Awareness RP
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 (Parts 1-3)
- City & Guilds Practical Water Hygiene Compliance Responsible Person (ACoP L8, HTM 04-01)
- Membership of a professional body such as Water Management Society (WMSoc), IOSH, or similar.
- Asbestos Awareness
