Opportunity to work for Dudley Council on a temporary ongoing basis for their Refuse Department.

Job Duties:

  • Collect refuse from residential and commercial locations according to scheduled routes.
  • Load and unload waste materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Safe operation of the bin lift and other equipment on the vehicle.
  • Refuse collection.
  • Picking and collecting waste and garbage.
  • Separating collected materials that should be recycled.
  • Emptying garbage trucks that have been filled.
  • Crushing/garbage refuse collected.
  • Following Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Successfully following instructions.

Working Hours:

  • 07:00-15:00
  • 05:45-13:45
  • 06:00-14:00

The right candidate has to be flexible to work all shift patterns across both locations. This role involves manual lifting as well as long distance walking for around 10 miles a day.
