Opportunity to work for Dudley Council on a temporary ongoing basis for their Refuse Department.
Job Duties:
- Collect refuse from residential and commercial locations according to scheduled routes.
- Load and unload waste materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Safe operation of the bin lift and other equipment on the vehicle.
- Picking and collecting waste and garbage.
- Separating collected materials that should be recycled.
- Emptying garbage trucks that have been filled.
- Crushing/garbage refuse collected.
- Following Health & Safety guidelines.
- Successfully following instructions.
Working Hours:
- 07:00-15:00
- 05:45-13:45
- 06:00-14:00
The right candidate has to be flexible to work all shift patterns across both locations. This role involves manual lifting as well as long distance walking for around 10 miles a day.
