We are seeking a motivated and experienced Learning & Organisational Development Practitioner to join our Talent and Development team on a full-time interim basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting organisational priorities during a period of transformation, helping to strengthen leadership capability, workforce performance and organisational culture across the Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Potential to design, develop and deliver leadership and management development programmes aligned to organisational priorities.
- Facilitate core management development interventions, including priority training programmes.
- Support delivery of corporate induction and wider employee development activity.
- Contribute to organisational development initiatives that support culture, values and transformation.
- Undertake learning needs analysis and commission or design solutions to meet service requirements.
- Deliver and support coaching activity as part of the organisation's internal coaching offer.
- Work collaboratively across services to support workforce development and engagement initiatives.
- Evaluate impact and continuously improve learning and organisational development provision.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience of designing and delivering leadership, management and organisational development interventions.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A solutions-focused approach, with the ability to respond to emerging organisational priorities.
- Experience of supporting workforce development in a complex organisational environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied and demanding workload.
- A qualified coach or working towards a coaching qualification is desirable.
