We are seeking an Experienced Locum Social Worker to join our East Dorset Locality Team. This role involves working with adults in the community, managing complex cases, and delivering high-quality strengths-based assessments within a local authority setting.
- Complete strengths-based assessments and care planning
- Manage a complex caseload within adult social care
- Conduct community visits and home assessments
- Undertake safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments
- Apply strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and relevant legislation
- Work hybrid: minimum 2 office days per week
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience in adult social care (local authority preferred)
- Strong assessment, risk management, and case coordination skills
- Full ability to complete community-based work
