About the Role

Responsible for managing an allocated section of the sales ledger, ensuring prompt collection of payments and effective credit control. The role includes account setup, cash allocation, debt chasing, and contribution to cash forecasting and process improvements. The ideal candidate will hold a Credit Control qualification, have advanced Excel skills, and bring senior credit control experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing an allocated part of the sales ledger credit accounts
  • Managing setting up of new accounts
  • Allocating cash payments
  • Chasing debt via telephone and email
  • Reporting any issue accounts and actions taken to collect monies
  • Inputting into cash forecasting reports
  • Acting as cover to other team members when required
  • Suggesting and being involved in project work to improve processes and controls
  • Adhoc work as requested by FC and FD
