Hours: Site open between 6am – 10pm, Monday – Friday – flexibility needed

About the Role: As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running, safety, and upkeep of our warehouse and site facilities. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, supporting the wider team by helping maintain a safe, efficient, and fully operational working environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out general building and site maintenance duties
  • Complete reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance tasks
  • Support with equipment upkeep to minimise downtime
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment
  • Assist with contractor supervision when required
  • Uphold all Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Previous maintenance experience within a warehouse, factory, or similar fast-paced operational setting
  • Ability to carry out general repairs, planned maintenance, and reactive fault-finding
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
  • Flexible approach to working hours on a rota basis between 6am – 10pm
  • A positive, can-do attitude with good problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working with conveyor belt systems or automated warehouse equipment
  • Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge
  • Previous experience supporting facilities or site maintenance across a distribution centre
