Salary: $90,000 per annum + Super
Retention Bonus: $1,500 after 3 months and an additional $1,500 after 6 months
Roster: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Cater Care Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality, compliance with food safety standards, resident satisfaction, and strong team performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead food preparation, presentation, and daily kitchen operations.
- Manage food and labour costs to achieve budget targets.
- Order, control, and maintain stock inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Lead, develop, and support kitchen team members.
- Prepare texture-modified meals and oversee bulk meal production.
Skills And Experiences About You:
- Relevant Trade Qualification and current Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
- Previous experience managing kitchen operations and/or hospitality sites.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Significant experience within hospitality, catering, aged care, or healthcare food services.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
- Professional approach to presentation, hygiene, and workplace standards.
Requirements:
