We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team, supporting the cleanliness and presentation of our distribution centre. This role is essential in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all colleagues across both office and warehouse communal areas.
This is a flexible part‑time opportunity of around 16 hours per week. Shifts will take place Monday to Friday, starting no earlier than 4pm and finishing no later than 10pm. We’re happy to discuss preferred working hours and will work with the right candidate to agree a shift pattern that suits both the individual and the business.
The role will involve:
- Cleaning communal areas including kitchens, toilets, canteens, offices, and shared welfare spaces
- Maintaining cleanliness within warehouse communal areas
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies such as soap, toilet roll, and paper towels
- Carrying out routine cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and sanitising touchpoints
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or stock shortages
- Ensuring cleaning duties are completed in line with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Helping to create a clean and pleasant working environment for all colleagues and visitors
What we need from you:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred, ideally within a commercial, warehouse, or office environment
- A good understanding of hygiene and health & safety standards
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks
- Flexibility to work agreed shifts within the evening window
- A positive and dependable attitude
