Opportunity to join a growing team with big plans for the future. The business analyst role acts as an ambassador for Technology Solutions between stakeholders and the developer and delivery teams.

Main elements of this role:

  • To review and analyse the current and proposed digital technology solutions and to consider and recommend options for improvement.
  • Assessing overall effectiveness of these solutions and devising solutions to problems or to address new needs.

Person Specification:

  • The role would benefit from a good working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Microsoft DevOps.
  • A foundation knowledge of Prince 2 project management standards for successful delivery of projects.
  • Presentation and speaking skills essential, and the ability to use project management tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet online project management tools.
  • A patient and customer first manner essential for this role, and being prepared to go the extra mile in order to complete the task on time, and to high standard.
  • Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve.
  • Supply chain partner management.
  • A proactive and can do approach is key to the successful outcome for the department and this role.
  • Prioritisation and planning is a key feature of this role, and the individual should be able to manage their time to provide successful outcomes per the department KPIs.
  • Some UK travel will be required for this role, however the majority of your time will be split between the office and home.
  • It may be necessary to achieve SC or DV clearance once in post.
