Mechanical Commissioning Manager-Contract or Permanent Role – London\\n\\nWe are currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Manager who has knowledge of BMS/Controls to join our team in London. We require someone who has experience reading DesOps, good knowledge of IST and integrating to control systems.\\n\\nPrimary Responsibilities\\n\\nManagement of the entire building commissioning process, including BMS and fire alarm\\nDeveloping commissioning plans, schedules, reports, checklists, and test scripts for mechanical systems\\nDevelopment and third-party buy-in into project certification strategies specific to mechanical components\\nRecording detailed progress prerequisites for mechanical systems\\nRoutine population and management of data in our project management software, with a focus on\\nmechanical aspects\\nUndertaking and reporting inspections and tests related to mechanical systems\\nAssisting in the development of design and commissioning documentation for tender and construction\\npurposes, emphasizing mechanical elements\\nAttending project and internal meetings as needed, representing the mechanical commissioning perspective\\nArranging test instrumentation with a specific focus on mechanical systems\\nAssisting in the development of tender submissions with an emphasis on mechanical requirements\\nSupporting projects during client discussions of a technical nature related to mechanical components\\nReviewing technical papers/reports related to mechanical systems before publication\\nWorking closely as part of a general contractor’s team to develop commissioning strategies and\\nprocesses aligned with project objectives, with a focus on mechanical aspects\\nUndertaking technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals, and technical submittals\\nrelated to mechanical systems\\nManaging detailed recording of meetings, particularly those involving mechanical commissioning discussions\\nProviding routine progress reporting and final project close-out reports with a focus on mechanical systems\\nManaging attendance and reporting of factory tests for mechanical components\\nArranging third-party sign-off as necessary for mechanical systems\\nProviding technical advice to clients regarding project and operational risk related to mechanical aspects\\n\\nPreferred Qualifications\\n\\nA commissioning professional as certified by an accredited agency\\nBachelor's Degree preferred\\nProfessional Engineer preferred\\nData Centre commissioning experience\\nCommissioning certification preferred (CxA, CCP, BCxP, or CBCP)\\nLEED ® AP or LEED ® Associate\\nManagement/Commissioning Management\\nHave one or more specific, relevant, technical expertise\\nProficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as Trace or IES\\nPreference given to local candidates\\n\\nRequired Qualifications\\n\\nIndividual drive, enthusiasm, and high attention to detail\\nDetailed technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems\\nA good working knowledge of Microsoft Office\\nCreativity and an ability to problem-solve quickly\\nMulti-tasking abilities\\nBeing task and deadline focused\\nAbility to work collaboratively\\nAbility to consistently produce high-quality project work
