Job Summary
The successful candidate will work alongside the Finance Director with a team of Support Staff. Lead the finance function in a fast-growing c£45m company with clients from across the island of Ireland. You will be an experienced qualified accountant with at least 5 years experience working in a business environment.
Location: Warrenpoint Head Office, Northern Ireland
Working Hours: Negotiable
Reporting To: Finance Director
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Cost Management and Profitability
- Compliance & Internal control
- Business Partnering and Leadership
- Systems and Process Improvement
- High level use of Excel required
- Data input and processing on Sage
- Use of our bespoke software packages
- Liaising with Contracts Managers on queries when required
- Use of Sage Line 50 for financial accounts
- Liaise with clients / suppliers when required
- Any other ad hoc duties required
Qualifications And Experience
- Third level qualification in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified with 5+ years PQE

- Have knowledge of Sage Accounts
- Be capable of working on own initiative
- Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Have a good timekeeping and attendance record
- Have the ability to work with a wide range of people

- In addition, the role may require the successful candidate to undertake work specific training on the job or externally.
