This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Assessor/IQA based in Hartlepool. The role involves assessing learners pursuing construction and Plant-related qualifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and conducting quality assurance checks. Responsibilities also include engaging with learners to provide guidance, evaluating their work, and supporting them in achieving their NVQs. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement and the delivery of high-quality training services.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Construction/Engineering, with technical knowledge of industry standards and processes
  • Assessment and quality assurance credentials, such as an Assessor qualification (e.g., A1/D32/D33) and IQA qualification (e.g., V1 or equivalent)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with learners and colleagues
  • Competence in providing documentation and reports associated with assessments
  • A valid driving license is preferred for site visits and assessments
