Shift Pattern (37.5 hours per week):
- Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, plus Saturday (8:00am–12:00pm or 6:00am–10:00am)
- Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am
30-minute unpaid break per shift. The factory operates continuously from Sunday night through to Friday day shift, with regular overtime available on Saturdays.
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy and fast-paced paper and board manufacturing environment in Livingston. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are handled efficiently and production runs smoothly. You will support day-to-day operations, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and contribute to the overall performance of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Handle and move paper and board materials across the site
- Support production lines to maintain workflow
- Carry out quality checks and report any issues
- Complete production and safety documentation accurately
- Follow all health safety procedures and site regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred)
- FLT licence desirable but not essential
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
