We are currently recruiting for a Chemical Engineer to join a leading organisation within the explosives and blasting services sector. This is a technically focused role supporting both internal and external customers, delivering specialist engineering services, data analysis, and consultancy across a range of projects.

The Role: As an Explosives Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering engineering support, undertaking site-based activities, and contributing to ongoing development of technologies and processes. You will play a key role in maintaining high technical standards and ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver metrics engineering services and equipment calibration
  • Conduct site-based activities including drone surveys and blast monitoring
  • Perform data analysis including fragmentation and blast performance
  • Support blasting operations, consultancy projects, and technical reporting
  • Maintain and calibrate monitoring and blasting equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Support training delivery and contribute to technical development initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong client relations
