We have some great opportunities for Apprentice Scaffolders to join our busy teams within London and surrounding areas.
Applicants are ideally required to have:
- Previous construction experience, or any physical outdoor role/experience.
- A valid CSCS card (Or having completed a Health & Safety Test within the last 2 years).
- Due to the job being site work, applicants are required to be over the age of 18.
On site you'll begin by loading out Scaffolding materials and you will be taught manual handling, health and safety rules, basic scaffolding knowledge, including identifying equipment. You will complete Manual Handling and COTS Training at our yard, based at Bishop's Stortford, a CISRS Card will be applied for and you'll continue your training out on site. As your confidence and knowledge improves, you will be given more responsibilities, learning the skills to become a qualified Scaffolder.
All of our Apprentice Scaffolders have the fantastic benefit of attending college which is arranged after you have passed your probationary period. To gain your qualification as Scaffolder takes between 2 - 3 years, as part of your training you will attend a Construction Training centre to carry out your Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications and then on to your assessment before gaining your qualification.
It's important to remember before applying for this role, that being a scaffolder is a physically demanding job which has to be done in all weather conditions, so we're looking for people who enjoy working hard, work well in a team and have a positive and respectful attitude come rain or shine!
