I am recruiting for a very interesting Energy Supply Business that is looking to expand the Operations team, looking for a Settlements Analyst with at least 1-2 years relevant experience.
You will be responsible for:
- Confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement of all trading activity and industry costs
- Validation of metering and settlement data, and resolution of issues
- Support on industry registration activities
- Preparation of monthly client billing and reconciliations
- Resolving client settlement and industry charge related queries
Preferred skills and experience:
- An understanding of the UK energy market, with experience operating within the BSC and REC frameworks.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills including the ability to assess errors and variances to reconcile data.
- Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders both internal and external.
- Experience of wholesale trade settlement processes.
- Experience of process automation using e.g. Python, SQL.
