Brand Relationship & Value-added products Senior Specialist
The Brand Relationship & Value-added products Senior Specialist will operate in two key areas – management of insurance/value-added products (VAPs) and a few of our OEM partnerships within the UK market.
Role Overview
On the insurance side, responsibilities include new product development, owning supplier relationships with third party insurers and product owners, and ensuring profitability of all VAPs sold with or separate to a finance agreement.
On the brand side, duties encompass pricing of Retail finance campaigns, provision of ongoing commercial reporting & analysis of brand performance, drafting of retailer communications, and day‑to‑day interactions with OEM contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new insurance and value‑added products.
- Maintain supplier relationships with third‑party insurers and product owners.
- Ensure profitability of all VAPs, whether bundled with or independent of finance agreements.
- Set pricing for Retail finance campaigns.
- Provide continuous commercial reporting and analysis of brand performance.
- Draft retailer communications and engage in day‑to‑day OEM interactions.
- Collaborate across departments and build close working relationships with external brand partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formulas & graphs for data analysis), Word & Power Point.
- Proficiency in numerical data analysis and mathematical calculations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly.
- A proven blend of numerical competence (Excel) and interpersonal confidence to manage OEM partners and the VAP portfolio.
- Location & Work Arrangement
The role will be based at the head office in Slough on a hybrid basis of home and office work, with occasional partner visits, industry event attendance and regional travel.
