How to prepare for a job interview at CONNECT RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS LIMITED

✨Know Your Numbers

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you'll need to demonstrate your understanding of financial metrics and analysis. Brush up on key financial concepts and be ready to discuss how you've used them in past roles. This shows you're not just familiar with the theory but can apply it practically.

✨Prepare for Scenario Questions

Expect questions that ask you to solve hypothetical financial problems or analyse data sets. Practise articulating your thought process clearly. This will help the interviewers see how you approach challenges and make decisions based on data.

✨Showcase Your Communication Skills

In FP&A, you'll often need to present findings to non-financial stakeholders. Be prepared to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms. During the interview, practice this by summarising your previous experiences in a way that's easy to understand.

✨Research the Company’s Financial Health

Before the interview, take some time to research the company's financial performance and recent news. This will not only help you answer questions more effectively but also allow you to ask insightful questions, showing your genuine interest in the role and the company.
