Balfour Beatty are seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Coordinator for the Highways Connect Plus Services team. The role will own the collation, maintenance and reporting of HSW data, and provide timely and accurate administrative support to the HSW team on the project. We have site offices around the M25 network, and the position can be based at Dartford, Leatherhead, or South Mimms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ad hoc business support, including general enquiries, assistance requests and referrals, content design, and support for HSW conferences and roadshows.
  • Support responses to bespoke bid questions on HSW and assist the work-winning team with content collation.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of Office 365 HSW Function and Zero Harm campaign pages.
  • Manage administration of functional email inboxes and distribution lists.
  • Lead on administration of the staff suggestion scheme (MyC) for the HSW function.
  • Support delivery of the UK Zero Harm Strategy and associated action plans.
  • Coordinate weekly Best Practice and Incident Report administration.
  • Provide administrative support for the TEPMP HSW Director.
  • Provide technical administrative support and coordination for the HSW team across respective areas.
  • Compile and coordinate HSW reports on a monthly basis.
  • Arrange travel as required for the wider HSW function.
  • Coordinate the production of HSW digital reenactments to share lessons learned across the business.
  • Support coordination and organisation of UK Supervisor Forums.
  • Update HSW documentation in line with changes to the Business Management System.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Flexibility to travel.
