We are seeking a Skilled Maintenance & Operations Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Dartford. This position is critical for maintaining production efficiency, safety, and quality standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on production and building equipment.
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnosis, and emergency breakdown repairs.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and maintain accurate logs.
- Ensure production lines meet performance targets and quality specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize machinery and reduce energy consumption.
- Perform shift handovers and maintain strict health and safety compliance.
Essential Requirements
- Qualification: Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent/above).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical control panels, inverter drives, and pneumatic systems.
- Fault Finding: Proven ability to troubleshoot with and without technical drawings.
- Attributes: Initiative-driven, good communicator, and a focus on safety.
