Our client is seeking a trainee Maintenance Engineer for their site in Dartford. You will be involved in the maintenance of machines in a food production.

Your Maintenance duties will involve:

  • Keep production moving with proactive and reactive maintenance activities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to equipment
  • Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
  • Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on site and recommending improvements
  • Conducting quality checks

Requirements:

  • Working within a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 2 years experience
  • Must have Electrical/Mechanical experience at Level NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • Experience of Fault finding both with and without drawings

Hours of work normally between 7am-6pm - Monday to Friday 48hrs per week.
