We are recruiting a reliable and proactive Material Handler to join a busy injection moulding operation. You will ensure production operators have the correct parts and materials when required, helping the mould shop run efficiently and without unnecessary delays. This position would suit someone who works well independently, contributes positively to a team and is willing to learn quickly within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplying production operators with the required parts and materials
- Ensuring production lines remain fully supplied and operate without delays
- Monitoring and replenishing stock levels across the shop floor
- Moving and organising materials safely within the mould shop
- Using basic computer systems to record stock movements and production information
- Supporting general production activities when required
- Communicating material shortages or operational issues to the appropriate team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
