Shift: Monday to Friday 07:00AM - 18:00PM (Also required on call)

We are seeking a Skilled Maintenance & Operations Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Dartford. This position is critical for maintaining production efficiency, safety, and quality standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on production and building equipment.
  • Carry out fault-finding, diagnosis, and emergency breakdown repairs.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and maintain accurate logs.
  • Ensure production lines meet performance targets and quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize machinery and reduce energy consumption.
  • Perform shift handovers and maintain strict health and safety compliance.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualification: Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent/above).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical control panels, inverter drives, and pneumatic systems.
  • Fault Finding: Proven ability to troubleshoot with and without technical drawings.
  • Attributes: Initiative-driven, good communicator, and a focus on safety.
