We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Tools & Equipment Coordinator to join our Stores team.


This role is essential in ensuring our operational teams have the right tools, equipment, small plant and PPE available, compliant, and ready for use. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you will help maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency across the business.

Foundation House, Hedge End, Southampton



  • Maintain accurate records of all equipment requiring calibration, LOLER, PAT, and other statutory testing on the asset inventory and equipment.

  • Accountable for accurate asset allocation records.

  • Monitor and manage equipment due for testing, ensuring no overdue equipment remains in operational use.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to coordinate inspections, testing, servicing, and compliance requirements.

  • Accurately check and record all goods received and issued through the inventory management system.

  • Work with the buying team to resolve deficiencies, inaccuracies, shortages, or damaged stock.

  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning activities.

  • Pick and issue PPE, tools, and equipment to operational teams in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Carry out regular stock counts, ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy.

  • Work in accordance with company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores environment.

  • Ensure all tools, equipment, PPE, and materials are stored securely and appropriately.

  • Inspect, empty, and prepare returned vehicles, tools, and equipment for reallocation and operational use.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.

Educational Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience is required.

  • Experience within construction, utilities, or a related industry is preferred.

  • Degree-level education is advantageous but not essential.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is beneficial.
