Connect Housing is a values-driven housing association with a strong social purpose, supporting communities across West Yorkshire. In an increasingly turbulent world, our vision is to work with customers, colleagues and partners to help build a fairer and more sustainable society.
Our purpose is simple: to invest in homes and relationships that build positive futures. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to live so offer homes that meet a variety of needs and aspirations. Sometimes people need a little bit more, so we also provide support services ranging from domestic abuse services to dementia support. Everything we do is focussed on building a better future, hence our strong commitment to playing our part in tackling the Climate Emergency.
About the role
To support our ambitions, we are seeking an Assistant Director of ICT, Business Intelligence and Change to join our Leadership Team—an influential leadership role at the heart of Connect. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Resources, this is a role with real breadth and influence for an accomplished ICT expert who can also lead across business intelligence and change.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and capacity to the Leadership Team, setting the vision and driving Connect’s Data, AI, Technology and Cyber strategies, ensuring robust Board assurance and governance, inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and change, empowering teams to deliver, and leading a coordinated programme of work aligned to corporate priorities with measurable, evidenced benefits and efficiencies.
We are looking for a senior ICT professional who combines technical strength with strategic leadership and a genuine commitment to Connect’s purpose. You will be solutions focused, professionally curious, collaborative and aligned with our values - championing transparency, accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement. Experience in a regulated environment is helpful, but your integrity and strategic mindset matter most.
