This opportunity is ideal for experienced site supervisors with a mechanical background, looking to work within a dynamic environment in Central London. The role offers the chance to oversee and coordinate fit-out works, plant room and related mechanical systems for a prestigious skyscraper project, ensuring smooth installation and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor with a mechanical background, specifically in plant rooms or mechanical installations.
  • Strong knowledge of plant room equipment, associated M&E systems, and safety regulations.
  • Experience working with contractors and managing subcontractors on-site.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise team members.
  • Ability to read drawings and raise technical issues with project management team.
  • Availability to commit to a 7-month contract with a competitive daily rate of up to £300.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of plant rooms and mechanical systems on site.
  • Coordinate daily activities of the site team and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Inspect work progress and report on site conditions and project status to the project manager.
  • Assist in resolving any on-site mechanical issues promptly to avoid delays.
