Connect Grp UK Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable M&E company for a Mechanical Project Manager to be site based in East London. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee mechanical aspects of project delivery within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a mixed use scheme comprising of 190 apartments, 15 commercial units and 2 energy centres, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the building services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and project management processes.
  • Experience managing multiple sub-contractors simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Validity of relevant health and safety certifications and a good understanding of UK regulations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leading the mechanical elements of the project, ensuring objectives are met on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinating with design teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Monitoring project progress, producing reports, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Managing project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance.
  • Ensuring that all work adheres to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

This role offers 22 days holiday plus all bank holidays, along with travel expenses covered. The client is a principle M&E contracting business, and this position provides a valuable opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to contribute to exciting multi-million pound projects within the London area.
