Connect Grp UK Ltd is proud to be partnering with a well-established, family-owned M&E contractor who have been delivering complex building services projects across London since the 1980’s. With a reputation for quality engineering and a client-first approach, they specialise in highly sensitive environments including historic buildings and sites requiring 24/7 operational continuity. Due to continued growth and an impressive project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead key decarbonisation and infrastructure upgrade projects across Central London.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical projects from inception through to completion. Your projects will primarily focus on:

  • Decarbonisation schemes including air source and ground source heat pumps
  • Plant replacement works on live, operational buildings
  • Switchroom upgrades and electrical infrastructure projects
  • Works within sensitive and historic environments where disruption must be minimised
  • Project values ranging between £2,000,000 - £(phone number removed)

You will be working closely with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage electrical projects typically ranging from design stage through to handover
  • Oversee all commercial, technical, and contractual aspects of your projects
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Coordinate with design, installation, and commissioning teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery
  • Ensure full compliance with H&S regulations and quality standards
  • Mentor and support junior team members where required
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E or building services sector
  • Strong background in electrical installations, ideally with exposure to plant replacement, switchgear, or renewable energy systems
  • Experience working on live environments, refurbishment, or sensitive buildings is highly advantageous
  • Excellent commercial awareness and contract management skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • CSCS Black Managers Card
  • SMSTS

  • Salary: Up to £90,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Contract Options: Initially contract basis with view to PAYE transition, or direct PAYE appointment available

  • Working Hours: Standard 8am – 5pm with flexibility required when projects demand
