Connect Grp UK are recruiting for a Working Foreman/Supervisor on behalf of our client, a leading M&E company based in Essex. We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in commercial electrical works and site supervision to join a small yet dynamic team. The role offers excellent benefits, including a company van, fuel allowance, and pension contributions. The role will ideally suit someone who is wanting to gradually come off the tools with a desire to progress into project management. Typically the projects undertaken will be across London and the surrounding counties. This is a PAYE position. 40 hours a week + overtime.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a working Supervisor in the electrical sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in electrical installations.
- Flexibility with working hours as nature of the work is commercial installations within live buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate electrical projects on-site to ensure timely completion.
- Manage and supervise a team of electricians and other trades personnel.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety standards.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records of work and report on project status to management.
