An established engineering business based in Bournemouth is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their high-performing hardware team. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and developing advanced digital and analogue circuitry, supporting production and field service, and helping drive new product features from concept through to release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and debugging of digital and analogue circuits.
  • Work independently on projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluate and modify electronic parts, components, and systems.
  • Select components and equipment based on technical analysis and reliability.
  • Conduct testing, simulations, and troubleshooting of hardware systems.
  • Produce detailed documentation including schematics, specifications, and layouts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to support prototype builds and new features.
  • Review and assess vendor capabilities to support ongoing product development.
