Job Description
- Execute all phases of system installation (first and second fix) to ensure timely completion and adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with hand tools for fixing, soldering, crimping, and terminating all necessary hardware and wiring.
- Interpret and work accurately from technical documentation, including schematics, site plans, and drawings, meticulously documenting all on-site modifications and changes.
- Configure and test AV/Digital Signage systems using a laptop to ensure optimal setup and performance prior to client handover.
- Collaborate effectively with Senior Engineers and Project Managers, following instructions while also using lateral thinking to propose and implement innovative engineering solutions on site.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure smooth project integration and timely delivery.
- Provide technical support and essential training to clients on the operation and maintenance of their newly installed systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years' proven experience in the Audio-Visual industry.
- Solid understanding of the complete AV installation lifecycle, including 1st and 2nd fix stages.
- Proven ability to accurately interpret and work from technical documentation, including schematics, termination sheets, site plans, and elevation drawings.
- Holding a CTS qualification (advantageous).
- Experience with commercial control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or QSC.
- Familiarity with various video wall configurations and brands (e.g., Absen, Samsung, NEC).
- Knowledge of and experience with video conferencing systems and associated technologies.
