Vehicle MET Technician

This well-known and established brand require an experienced MET Technician [Mechanical Electrical & Trim] to work from their site in Exeter (Devon). The successful MET Technician [Mechanical Electrical & Trim] will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an MET Technician role, responsible for the dismantle and reassemble of damaged vehicle body parts.

Responsibilities will include:

• Complete all MET [Mechanical Electrical Trim] work to the highest levels

• Ensure that stripping and rebuilding [Strip & Fit] work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner

• Ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times

• Advise the Bodyshop Manager of any additional work identified when working on a vehicle

• Check that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the parts department
