Location: Dorchester, DT1

Contract Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Working Hours: 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Salary: 34,386 - 44,518 (Dependent on experience)

They are currently seeking a Scrub Nurse who will play an essential role in upholding the values of safety, integrity, kindness, and transparency in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring adherence to clinical governance principles in all operations.
  • Managing the admission and discharge process for patients on theatre days.
  • Administering medication safely in line with NMC guidelines for the handling of medicines.
  • Maintaining accurate records according to NMC standards.
  • Providing scrub experience during clinical procedures.
  • Reporting any accidents or incidents according to established procedures.
  • Collaborating with consultants and the clinical team to deliver outstanding ophthalmic care.
  • Preparing clinical areas by ensuring that all equipment is checked and ready for use prior to procedures.
