About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a new not-for-profit children’s residential home opening in Runcorn in early 2026. The home will provide high-quality care for up to three children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, and autism. This role offers the chance to make a real difference — shaping a new service from the ground up, building your own team, and leading it to achieve Outstanding outcomes with Ofsted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure every child and young person receives exceptional, individualised care in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Lead, develop and inspire the staff team, promoting a positive and supportive culture.
  • Register with Ofsted and drive the home towards Outstanding inspection results.
  • Manage the home’s daily operations, budgets, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external professionals.
