A strong numerical graduate is required for a development role with a leading energy business based just outside of London. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to develop a wide range of skills and a thorough understanding of the UK energy industry.
The role holder will need strong analytical skills to manage large data reporting, whilst excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable them to manage stakeholders across the business and external counter-parties.
An overview of responsibilities will include:
- Support the overall delivery processes for the validation and settlement of the volume of energy sales and purchases across the gas and power customers, transportation costs for power, gas and coal, and renewable energy obligations.
- Development and maintenance of models and systems to support the team’s operational activities and ad hoc analysis.
- Support the team in delivering the complete recognition of both creditors and Cost of Sales reporting.
- Provide input into the development of new products through developing strong working relationships with Sales.
