We are seeking an experienced Deputy Team Manager β Safeguarding to join its children's social care service on an initial 6-month minimum contract, paying Β£40 per hour Ltd.
The Role
Working as part of a stable and established management structure, you will support the Team Manager in the effective management of a safeguarding social work team. You will play a key role in providing professional leadership, supporting social workers with complex cases and ensuring high standards of practice and safeguarding are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Team Manager with the day-to-day management of the safeguarding team.
- Provide effective professional supervision, guidance and support to social workers.
- Support decision-making around complex safeguarding cases and risk.
- Ensure statutory duties, policies and procedures are followed.
- Monitor case progression, performance and outcomes for children and families.
