About the Role
Medway Council is looking for an experienced Pre-14 Case Officer to join its SEND and Inclusion Service on an initial 3-month interim contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews for children and young people aged under 14 with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with children and young people, parents and carers, schools, colleges, training providers and relevant professionals to ensure high-quality, outcome-focused EHCPs are developed and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end maintenance, review and amendment of EHCPs.
- Ensure EHCP processes are completed within statutory timescales.
