Transport Supervisor - Recruitment & Compliance

With a strong commitment to excellence, we're expanding our team and seeking a talented and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Hamilton, providing recruitment and compliance support!

As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Providing recruitment support by working closely with our recruitment team to identify staffing requirements for transport operations
• Assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding
• Developing and maintaining a pool of qualified candidates for ongoing transport roles
• Assisting with compliance duties
• Ensuring all drivers and transport staff adhere to legal and company regulations, including licensing, training, and safety standards
• Assisting in maintaining up-to-date records of employee certifications, driving licences, and other mandatory compliance documents

To be successful within this Transport Supervisor role, you will have proven previous experience within a logistics role – preferably with a background in recruitment/compliance. Combined with the following skills, traits, and experience:

• Excellent knowledge of transport regulations, driver compliance and health & safety standards
• A strong understanding of recruitment and client needs
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• A demonstrated ability to drive results and exceed targets
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own work load
