About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative – FLT Driver within our Outbound Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll support both forklift operations and manual warehouse activities to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched efficiently.
While this role includes operating a Bendi FLT (licence preferred), it is primarily a manual warehouse operative role. On average, around 15% of the role involves FLT operation, with the majority of time spent completing manual warehouse tasks such as picking, packing and walking throughout the warehouse. Some shifts may involve little or no FLT use, depending on operational requirements. This is an active role where you will spend much of your shift on your feet and walking across the warehouse while picking and preparing orders.
The role will involve:
- Operating a Bendi FLT to support outbound order movements and stock replenishment when required
- Assisting with picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Working across the outbound function to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
- Supporting general warehouse duties when not operating the truck, including manual handling tasks
- Walking throughout the warehouse while picking orders using voice-picking technology
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and safe FLT operation at all times
What we need from you
- Valid Bendi licence is essential
- Ideally hold additional licences for HLOP and VNA (highly desirable)
- Comfortable working a role that combines FLT driving and on-foot pick/pack work
