About the role and team:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BI Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing data from across the business, building insightful dashboards, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. As an expert in Power BI and data analytics, you will support teams across the business, including marketing, product, sales and operations, by transforming data into visually compelling reports and performance metrics that drive our commercial and operational strategies.
The role will involve:
- Analysing business performance metrics (e.g., sales, customer behaviour, website traffic and conversion, operational performance) using Power BI and other BI tools
- Creating, maintaining, and updating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Developing automated reporting processes to streamline data analysis for teams across the business
- Monitoring and analysing business KPIs, trends, and forecasts to identify growth opportunities
- Providing insights into customer behaviour, product performance, operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness, helping to shape commercial, marketing and product strategies
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to ensure proper integration of data from various sources (e.g. Google Analytics, Google ads, Microsoft ads, Google Big query)
- Maintaining data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and implementing data governance best practices
- Working cross-functionally with marketing, product management, operations, and sales teams to provide insights that enhance decision-making
- Supporting ad-hoc requests for data analysis and reporting from various stakeholders
To be successful for this role you will have:
- Experience in data analysis, preferably within a retail, distribution, eCommerce or commercial environment
- Proven expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modelling and report creation
- Strong understanding of data platforms and sources (e.g. Google Analytics, Google ads, Microsoft ads, Google Big query)
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas
- Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
- Knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., Power Automate, ETL processes)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences
- A proactive, curious approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities
