Overview

We are seeking a commercially minded, proactive and determined individual to join our M&A Origination team. This role focuses on the early stages of business development and supporting the deal pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • The proactive identification and assessment of potential acquisition targets
  • Highlighting and researching markets relevant to a client\’s acquisition criteria
  • Presenting acquisition targets and shareholder profiles while assessing their fit for the client
  • Preparing M&A reports highlighting key characteristics
  • Leading outreach to prospective targets and supporting the lead advisor throughout
  • Supporting the deal team with research and meeting preparation
  • Meeting prospective clients and business owners
  • Maintaining databases to support overall business performance
  • Involvement in various aspects of a transaction, with extensive interaction with clients
  • Provision of research information to support transaction execution
  • Preparation of presentations for management team meetings
  • Individual company analysis and research of selected target companies including financial, strategic and competitor analysis

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of M&A and deal origination/business development is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Evidence of academic achievements – a degree is preferred
  • To be considered you must be a graduate or equivalent with strong interpersonal skills; you will be a motivated, self-starter and an effective team player. If you have existing experience in M&A or lead generation we would love to hear from you!
