We are looking for a part time Financial Analyst with strong experience working with Microsoft Power BI. Working in a team of 4 and reporting to a Financial Controller, the successful candidate must be a team player, be highly organised and flexible. This role would suit someone studying or wanting to study towards a formal accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA). Training is offered and study support is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- To convert existing reports, develop and implement new and advanced analytical tools using Power BI, based on data from Microsoft Business Central and other various sources.
- Prepare regular financial reporting packs for customers and for internal use (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc).
- Support the wider finance function through month-end activities, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting and audit processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes, controls, and systems.
- Any other duties as required.
Location: Based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. This is an office-based position.
Working Pattern: Permanent, Part Time – 20 hours per week.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Pro rata).
