Dear Candidates, We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our established children's home in Badgworth, Axbridge. Our 3-bedroom home specializes in supporting children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD), and we are seeking a passionate individual who is committed to creating a nurturing and safe environment for our residents.

About the Role: As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of care. You will lead a dedicated team, foster positive relationships with children and their families, and implement individualized care plans that promote the well-being and development of each child.

What We Offer:

  • Attractive Salary: Base salary of £46,202.89, with additional earning potential through performance bonuses.
  • Annual Leave: Enjoy 30 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
  • Ofsted Performance Bonuses: Receive £1,000 for achieving an 'Outstanding' report and £500 for a 'Good' report.
  • On-Call Compensation: £10 per day Monday to Friday; £50 per day on weekends.
  • Car Allowance: A £2,000 car allowance.
  • Occupancy Incentives: Earn £175 per additional child placed after the first (e.g., for a 3-bed home, earn £350 per month for 2 additional children).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in managing a registered children's home, particularly with EBD children.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for inspiring and motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
