Join one of the area\’s best logistics and distribution companies! Connect Appointments are looking for reliable individuals to become Warehouse Order Pickers for one of our prestigious clients.
Working within their Bathgate facility, this is a 35 hours ongoing temporary role, leading to a full-time permanent contract for the right candidate.
Working hours are based on a rota schedule, where you have the flexibility to work from 4pm OR 5:30pm to finish.
Pay rate:
- Between 10pm and 4am – £18.35 per hour
- Between 4am and 10pm – £14.68 per hour
As a Warehouse Order Picker, your duties will include: Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:
- Safely picking items from shelves
- Packaging completed orders
- Building pallets
- Moving pallets around the warehouse
- Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
- Performing warehouse cleaning duties – if necessary
To be successful in this Warehouse Order Picker position, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment; The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; The ability to use picking machines in warehouses and to manually pick items; The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
